Riviera Marine of Brisbane, Australia named Morse Industries a Supplier of the Year for 2001.
The award formally recognizes companies that consistently display outstanding service and work with Riviera for mutual success.

"The role of our suppliers is changing rapidly. No longer are we only looking for delivery on time, in full and 100% quality, but we encourage suppliers to become involved in our business," said Graeme Madden, Riviera Marine Logistics Manager. "We see Morse Industries as progressive and a company that exceeds our expectations."

"Due to Morse Industries' outstanding service to us during a very dynamic year, we are extremely happy to formally recognize their performance," said Madden.

Also involved in the selection process was Pacific O.E.M. Supply, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA., a U.S. consolidator of marine products for Pacific Rim boat builders. "When Riviera asked us to recommend suppliers that were outstanding in delivery, keeping stock, coming through as promised and going above the call of duty, Morse Industries was one company that came to mind. They have been very helpful to us in coordinating their products to insure timely deliveries, which is so critical when shipments are going overseas," said Paul Ito, Export Manager at Pacific O.E.M.

This is the 3rd annual award given to vendors and the other winners this year included Shurflo Pump Manufacturing and Boat Leveler. "Our relationship with Pacific O.E.M. and Riviera Marine goes back more than 10 years," said Larry Morse, Vice-President of Morse Industries, Inc. "Both of these companies are a pleasure doing business with and we are honored to receive this recognition."

About Riviera Marine/ The Riviera Group
From a dream that began with founder Bill Barry-Cotter's over three decades ago has emerged Australia's most respected manufacturer of luxury on the water. This dream is now shared by over 500 craftspeople in the southern hemisphere's most advanced boat building complex at Coomera on Australia's Gold Coast.

Beginning with the first timber Mariners that were hand built in 1966, to today's output which exceeds one boat produced every day of the year, the company's craft continue to set industry benchmarks for quality, refinement and performance. As a testimony to this, they have become the most awarded boats in Australian history.

Today Bill Barry Cotter's dream lives on through the work of an innovative boat manufacturing organization known as The Riviera Group. Little wonder The Riviera Group's range is exported to some of the most discerning boat buyers in over 22 countries around the globe.
