STAINLESS CAST FITTINGS

Stainless Cast Fittings

Morse Industries can help you create superior quality fittings made from 316 marine grade stainless steel. Fittings are manufactured at a state-of-the-art foundry with every run tested for quality and workmanship. Each fitting is hand-polished and passivated to insure a beautiful, bright finish and long life in tough outdoor environments.

The Casting Process

  1. A die is made for injecting wax patterns.
  2. Molten wax is injected into the die.
  3. The wax pattern is removed from the die.
  4. The patterns are assembled in a tree.
  5. The tree is dipped in a ceramic slurry and then held under a sand shower until the required shell thickness is achieved.
  6. Heat is used to remove the wax from the mould.
  7. The mould is preheated.
  8. Metal is poured directly into the hot mould.
  9. The sand mould is then broken off.
  10. The pieces are removed from the tree.
  11. Individual parts are then fabricated and polished to customer's specifications.
