Aluminum Extrusions
For over 20 years, manufacturers have relied on Morse Industries to produce the highest quality aluminum extrusions for a variety of needs. We work as a "full service" organization. Our sales and design consultants assist in taking your order from design, to construction of dies and tooling, through production, fabrication, finishing and then follow through until your aluminum extrusions reach your receiving door. Unlike other extruders, we have the ability to manage the inventory of your finished aluminum extrusions in one of our national facilities for just-in-time delivery.
Our goal is to give our customers a feel for what is required to have a custom aluminum profile produced. Considering the amount of variables involved (finishing, fabrication, packaging, etc.), the stated numbers may vary. Lead times must be calculated after all factors are considered.
The most common aluminum alloys we provide are 6063, 6463, 6061 and 6005. Common tempers include T4, T5 and T6. Temper numbers indicate the age hardening of aluminum.
Aluminum Extrusions Finishes and Coatings: Available finishing processes include anodized clear and bright dip, anodized two-step hard coat, color tinting, electro-static wet paint, powder coating, mill finish, as extruded, buffing, brushing and texturing.
Aluminum Extrusions Fabrication: Processes include cutting to length (+/- 1/16" standard), drilling and countersinking, punching and slotting, bending and welding, and drilling and tapping.
Product Packaging: Includes cardboard carton or tubs, spiral wrap (carton or pallet), single poly sleeve, paper interleaves, contact tape, and heated shrink-wrap
